Local & Live Bank Holiday weekend at The Forum – Friday 23rd – Monday 26th August

Around 30 acts are performing to help raise funds towards next year’s Festival. Many of the local music scene most prominent and popular acts are taking part including the likes of Storm Engine, Intraverse, Cyrano, Dan Clews, My Preserver, The Standard Lamps, The Breretons, Searching For Pie, English Sporting Defeat, Matt Pound & Lieutenant Leek, Code Marla, Sarah Tonin to name just a few. This year’s festival headliners ‘The Soundcasters’ are performing on The Sunday evening and the three other headline act; Freddy Green & A Few Good Folk, Goldie Reed and Will Joseph Cook will all be performing on the Monday evening at The Forum to bring the weekend to a climactic close.

Paul says “I am still gutted as are many people that Local & Live is not happening this year, however this fundraising weekend at The Forum is going to be amazing. There are so many great local acts performing and they have all been so wonderfully supportive about the cancellation of the festival, they are all really keen to help raise some funds for next year and bring the festival back to the town. We have now extended the Monday programme to a 2pm start to bring more acts into the fold and bring the weekend to a climatic close.”

Tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings (doors at 7pm) are £7 in advance from the Tunbridge Wells Forum website or £8 on the door.

Tickets for the Monday (2pm start) are £5 in advance or £6 on the door.

The full weekend pass The Local & Live Golden wristband is £22.50, which also includes entry to the Sunday eve fundraiser at The Grey Lady, running parallel to the Forum Sunday night show.

Doors for this night are at 7pm, with on the door entry of £8. Bands performing at The Grey Lady are Audiowhores, Ben Jones & The Rifle Volunteers, The Paul Dunton Ensemble and David Migden & The Dirty Words.

This wristband will be issued on arrival and also gains the holder access to the parallel Grey Lady show on the Sunday.
