Paul says “Tom Williams & The Boat are the leading light on the local scene. Brilliant Live or in the studio, their superb songwriting and exemplary musicianship has led the band to achieving consistent radio play on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 and will be performing at numerous high profile festivals and venues in 2011 including headlining the ‘Local & Live Music Festival’ in August on the Pantiles.
The Breretons are a unique acoustic act. The 5 piece band are regarded as one of the best acts on the local scene and Charlotte Brereton possesses one of the most compelling voices I have ever heard, a voice that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck. Their style is a blend of folk/alternative with a bluesy twist. Their influences include Joni Mitchell and Ray Lamontagne."
