Jo Hook sings songs that will make your neck hair rise. Her soft husky voice soothes and inspires and her quirky style of songwriting is hArd to attribute to any style of music other than her own. she makes you laugh, sometimes she moves you to tears. Jo is a cheeky but soulful performer, self deprecating but underneath all the grins is a songwriter of depth, with great observations about life, love and the world as we know it.
Stuart is an independent; writer, musician and session guitarist based in East Sussex. Calling on a wide variety of genres to influence his music, his writing style takes on many forms across a wide set of genres. He has played with and plays for many fantastic local artists such as Meya Rein, Kathryn Anderson, The Paul Dunton Orchestra, Rocinia, Good Company and countless other musicians along the way. The main genres he leans towards are Blues and Folk, but takes in Country, Jazz, Funk and Soul elements into his playing, providing a new twist on old sounds.
Katie Kittermaster is a British singer/songwriter. Her vocals are haunting, emotive and distinctive. Her writing is based on relationships, which resonates well with her target listeners. Her writing is fresh and honest. She’s funny, quirky and her anecdotes are popular with the audience.
In August 2017 Katie performed to over 10K people opening for Louisa Johnson and dance group, Diversity. In the same year, and early version of Kaleidoscope was played on ITV’s This Morning.
In September 2018 Katie opened for Jools Holland and Marc Almond at Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire. Katie supported Olly Murs in December, in the same year.
Early in 2019, Katie won the UK Songwriting Contest and T-shirt was also named as Commonwealth Song of the Year.
After leaving school, the summer of 2019 saw Katie perform at many music festivals including Penn Fest, El Dorado, Deebsday, The Big Feastival and CarFest.
Katie opened twice for Boyzone’s frontman Ronan Keating in August 2019, at the stunning venues of Castle Howard and Kimbolton Castle.
Katie toured the UK with Boyzlife (Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy) during the month of September 2019; playing 15 gigs over 22 nights. Her debut single ‘Sunday Afternoon’ was promoted during this time and 22 radio interviews took place (with multiple BBC stations), as well as a prime-time interview with the BBC News team.
Katie supported Lucy Spraggan on her winter tour in 2019, playing 37 sell-out gigs throughout the UK, Ireland, Germany and The Netherlands.
Katie will join Brian and Keith as their ‘special guest’ during the February leg of their Boyzlife Spring UK tour. Their first date together is in Hull on February 1st, 2020.
Katie’s debut EP, ’Coming Home at Dawn’ was released on November 1, 2019.
