"But we're all good guys… some play guitar, others play accordion to pass the time, when the time is long" - Georges Dors

A 6-piece jazz and blues band, the Bons Larrons inhabit the unexplored hinterland between Ernest Hemingway and Louis Armstrong. Sam Farrow (guitar) and Alex Leith (piano, vocals) have been writing and performing their own songs together since childhood and have enlisted Patrick Jenkins (trumpet), Nils (bass), Finlay (drums) and Tiffany (lead vocals) to complete their vision of stoic jazz. Their name is taken from the song 'La Manic' by Georges Dor and they set themselves to follow in that fine tradition of chanteurs de charmes.

Lo! Behold

Born in London and raised in Sevenoaks, Lo was introduced to the Beatles at age five and rapidly developed her first musical obsession. Studying classical piano into her teens, she expanded her tastes to take in Kate Bush, the Smiths and Regina Spektor. Her sound is one of contrasts, between her haunting yet honeyed voice, her dark and desolate lyrics, the warmth of her piano; her songs too transform autobiography into more abstract imagery.

Lo has received airplay on BBC Kent and BBC6 Music. She was invited, as part of BBC Introducing, to the Introducing Masterclass at Abbey Road and Maida Vale studios and her performance for Tom Robinson was featured on the BBC website . More recently she was selected to take part in the Mayor of London's Big Busk competition which saw her busk at the O2, amongst other famous London landmarks.

Ben Bishop is a 22-year-old musician based in East Sussex. Having grown up near Tunbridge Wells, he moved to Brighton to study a music production degree in September 2013, so that he could take his love for songwriting and composition a step further. Since 2015, Ben has been writing and recording under his new alias ‘Cali Santo’, with ambitions to write, self-produce and release his first full length album in the summer of 2017.

Ben’s songwriting style is heavily influenced by the rock and folk music of the late 1960’s and 70’s, with artists like Bob Dylan and Neil Young taking centre stage as his personal music idols. Drawing inspiration from modern artist/producers like Jonathan Wilson and Justin Vernon, he now hopes to be able to express himself artistically by writing and recording his own music for years to come.
