Urban folk band Shadrack Tye are all members of the same family based in south London. Since the Autumn of 2010 they have been playing in both duo and trio line-up, delighting and exciting audiences and promoters alike. Their combined talents and eclectic musical taste creates a fresh, energetic approach, often with a bit of a twist! Sam's rock inspired riffs and innovative jazz harmonies blend beautifully with the skill and finesse of Tina and Paul's classical training. Together they perform original songs as well as re-workings of folk, traditional and more contemporary music, pulling the audience into a rich musical landscape. Singer-songwriter Tina draws inspiration from life's emotional tapestry, writing songs that showcase her expressive voice and wide vocal range.

Shadrack Tye’s reputation continues to grow at folk clubs and music festivals in London and across the country A couple of highlights from the last two years include being invited by Sam Lee to play in the Folk Rising series at Cecil Sharpe House, and a booking for the Purbeck Festival after an extremely successful debut at the Bournemouth Folk Club. In 2011 they self-released their first EP Tthe Lovers Tale”.

Daniel Benisty

Daniel is a London-based singer-songwriter with a passion for soul music, opera, alternative rock and jazz. Having spent half his life travelling and learning foreign languages, he returned two years ago to his native city to search for some home-grown soul. Fascinated by the connections between music, between people and between art-forms, and still mystified by astrology, astronomy, women and romantic poetry, Daniel represents something of a renaissance man crossed with an extra from Southpark, or a disturbed urban crossed with a beach-bound hobo. Using piano and occasionally guitar, to slide lyrics between comedy and tragedy, Daniel's song-writing style does not really stick to a genre or mood but tries to catch contemporary with classical at every hook.

Singer-songwriter, Paul Dunton leads his own unique cross-over orchestra providing an atmospheric fusion of alternative and pop with a classical twist. Paul & his Orchestra take influences from varying modern day artists such as Pink Floyd, Elbow, ELO, Turin Brakes, Massive Attack, Damien Rice and contemporary composers such as Samuel Barber, Ludovico Einaudi, John Barry and Hans Zimmerman. The Orchestra performs Paul's own compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards from a wide range of artists. The line-up of 8 violins, 4 cellos, guitar, flute, bass and percussion accompanies Paul on vocals and piano, joined by his lead vocalists, Charlotte Andrew and Poppy Raine. Paul and his Orchestra regularly perform at concerts, festivals and private events throughout the UK and internationally, including headlining the Theatrium Wilhelmstraße Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany and an 8 state tour of the USA which culminated in a spectacular roof-top performance on top of the New York Strand Hotel. Increased attention and success led to the orchestra being featured on BBC Radio 2 by Joan Armatrading with interviews and airplay of one of Paul's songs, 'Don't Forget'. This led to Paul supporting Joan Armatrading on five occasions during her recent UK tours.
