Stevie Becks

Hi, my name's Stevie Becks and I'm a female, singer songwriter from Brighton UK.

All my life I have felt somewhat different and disconnected from the world. Unable to come to grips with myself and my emotions. Until the age of seventeen, where I picked up a mike and started unleashing all my thoughts and fears through singing and songwriting. 

I have just finished releasing my first album “Growin' Pains.”

“Growin' Pains” is an album relating to growing up, going through childhood and the struggles of adolescence, mentally, physically and emotionally.

I am now in the process of recording my next track “Dreams” and I am continuing play live around east Sussex with my great Stevie Becks band backing me.

I'm also using this time to explore and develop my own unique and individual style of music. 

My music means everything to me, it helps and inspires me to create and explore the different emotions, past, present and future, within me whether it be anger, sorrow, depression and elation etc., and to release those emotions within me through my music to capture a moment in time. 

I want people to feel a connection with my music. I am so overjoyed to say that I am one of the few people in the world that can actually do something that they love and enjoy and I wouldn't change it for the world... but most of all, I love music that challenges our lifestyle, our minds and soul. Music that tells you a story in which you can emotionally connect with.
