Local alternative band Staring At Goats formed in the middle of 2007 when budding songwriter Leo Ulph met Paul Barnard, and realised that their varied musical tastes and influences (ranging anywhere from Jeff Buckley and the Stone Roses, to Rage against the Machine or Metallica!), met somewhere in the middle. Paul is an accomplished musician and whilst he plays bass in the current setup has also played both the drums and guitar is a variety of local bands at renowned venues. Leo took up the guitar a few years back and has been keeping busy creating songs from his thoughts and everyday experiences ever since. Ben Coombe recently joined the band adding further texture to the sound through his versatile guitar and engaging vocals. Later on in the year, the band met up with both a talented producer and drummer and began recording their debut EP 'Adorn Fauna', which they have recently completed and are now concentrating on completing an album for the near future.
