Influenced by female singer/songwriters such as Cat Power, Joni Mitchell and Beth Orton, Emily Watts uses piano and vocals to perform her haunting self-penned songs. She has supported Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Wyles & Simpson & Kathryn Williams and has played venues in Kent and London such as Ramsgate Music Hall, Ronnie Scott's, The Troubadour and The Garage. Emily’s debut EP, From the Blue, has been inspired by the landscapes of the East Kent coast after she retreated to a little blue beach hut in Tankerton, Whitstable to write songs in isolation.
